Rod-like Nano-structures of Copper Oxide Prepared by Chemical Bath Deposition

In this paper, we reported that the annealing at temperatures of 400 and 500 oC in air for 2 hours led to formation rod-like structures cupric oxide thin films prepared by chemical bath deposition technique. The structure optical properties were studied investigate role on films. morphology as-deposited CuO is almost structureless. However, are converted shapes nano-structures after annealing, as confirmed scanning electron microscopy. x-ray analysis showed copper have a monoclinic crystallinity preferred (110), (002), (111) directions, increases annealing. Furthermore, bandgap values reduced from 2.1 1.61 1.63 eV determined utilizing UV–VIS spectroscopy.
